&Rise

HDC is proud to partner with &Rise to provide therapy at no cost to eligible &Rise clients.

&Rise is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers women to be the best version of themselves by offering safe spaces to heal, learn, and grow. We have seen first-hand the strength and power of trauma survivors when we join together to support and inspire each other.

Founded by an abuse survivor in Chicago in 2018, &Rise has become an empowered voice for change and healing with a global reach.

Jennifer Ramirez is dedicated to helping survivors of trauma and abuse! She founded &Rise to provide free support groups and free counseling to female survivors as well as founding &Flourish which provided coaching to female survivors of trauma.

Collective Chicago

Collective Chicago

HDC is proud to partner with Collective Chicago to provide therapy at no cost to former and current CC residents.

Collective Chicago is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that disrupts cycles of poverty by providing income-sensitive transitional housing. We live alongside young men, building financial literacy, vocational opportunities, healthy community life, and holistic development that cultivates dignity and empowers self-sufficiency.

Launched in Uptown, Chicago November of 2018. A small group of passionate community developers began creating a space for young men with a history of homelessness to change their trajectory.
